All Day Fishing - Learn to cast a fishing rod with a spinning reel and put your skills to work behind a rod and reel. Will you catch the longest or heaviest fish of the day?
Face-painting! – Pick your favorite Wabash River wildlife creature and sport them on your face for all to see.
Caricature Artist – Have you ever wondered what you would look like as a cartoon character? Now is your chance!
Columbian Park Zoo – Come see some of your favorite zoo friends from 10:00am until noon.
Bicycle Lafayette’s Bike Rodeo – Learn how to ride safely through a fun, full day of hands-on activities and interactive stations. These stations aim to teach basic skills such as starting and stopping, scanning for traffic, avoiding hazards, and other best practices. Challenge yourself on the obstacle course finish! Bicycles and helmets will be available for use or you can bring your own. Located at the Riverside Ice Rink, and generously sponsored by Mindy Deno State Farm Insurance.
Riverfest Water Drop 5K Run/Walk – Come celebrate the summer with the seventh annual Riverfest Water Drop 5K Run/Walk benefiting the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation! Come out to race or cheer on the participants at 8:00 am and stay for Wabash Riverfest family friendly activities and the canoe races on the Wabash River all day long. Learn more and register here!
Songwriter’s Association of Mid-North Indiana (SAMI) – Bring a chair or relax on the lawn near the band shelter and enjoy beautiful music from a variety of Indiana artists performing varying styles including Coffee House, Pop, Blues, Country, and Americana. Instruments will include piano, guitar, ukulele, harmonica, djembe, and combinations if performers choose to collaborate. It will be a little of everything!
Conservation Booths – Visit a wide array of conservation booths! You can do crafts and play games while learning about all the conservation opportunities in this community.
Coloring Contest – Show your artistry by stopping by to color some wildlife found in the Wabash River! Submit your artwork to be judged for prizes. Age groups include: 5 and under, 6-9 years old, 10-13 years old, and 14 and over! Yes, even adults can enter! Entries must be submitted by 3:00pm. Winners will be announced and prizes presented at 3:30pm.
Cornhole Free Play – Gather teams to try your hand at cornhole free play on spectacular Wabash Riverfest cornhole boards!
Canoe Photo Op – Make a fun memory of your day at Riverfest with a photo of you and your family or friends paddling our photo op canoe! Don’t worry, you need no experience and you won’t get wet. Our simulated Voyageur Canoe will be set up on dry land.
Zipline – Are you ok with heights? Check zip lining off your bucket list and get a whole new view of Riverfest from above! Anyone 45 lbs to 230 lbs can zipline through Wabash Riverfest for free!
Rope-A-Phobia – Prove your strength and agility with the 20 foot rope climb! Must be 16 years old or older.
Voyageur Canoe Races - Be a part of the greatest spectacle on the Wabash River! There’s still time to enter your business or organization in our County Challenge or afternoon tournament. Nine-member teams will sprint down the 300 yard Wabash River course in Voyageur canoes. Learn more about this exciting event here!
Try A Canoe/Kayak Demonstration Area – Learn how to paddle a canoe or kayak! Our experienced volunteers will demonstrate the skills you’ll need to get out on the water, and enjoy yourself safely and efficiently.
Discover the Wabash River – NICHES Pirate Float Trip – Dress like a pirate and discover the Wabash River as you float from Davis Ferry Park to Tapawingo Park with experienced pirates (river guides)! Use our boats or bring your own. Shuttle service will be provided. Plan to arrive at 8:00 am. The float trip begins at 9:00 am and will end at Tapawingo Park at approximately 11:30 am, where you and your family can enjoy the rest of the day at Riverfest!
