Water Drop 5K Walk/Run
Join us this summer for the 11th annual Riverfest Water Drop 5K Run/Walk in support of the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation. Be a part of Wabash Riverfest and start your day on the pedestrian bridge connecting Lafayette and West Lafayette. Stick around after the race for an array of family-friendly events and exciting canoe races on the Wabash River.

8:00 a.m. Water Drop 5K Run/Walk
The 5K Run/Walk starts on the pedestrian bridge, with packet pickup located nearby. Parking is available at no cost in the following locations:
- Wabash Landing parking garage on Tapawingo Drive, behind the Hilton Garden Inn in West Lafayette
- Downtown Lafayette parking garage on Columbia Block at 2nd Street
- City of Lafayette parking garage at 18 N. 5th St. Lafayette, IN 47901
Location: West Lafayette Wellness Center, 1101 Kalberer Rd, West Lafayette, IN 47906
Date: Friday, July 12th, 2023 from 4-7 pm
Early-Bird Registration: $25 (includes T-shirt), closes July 3rd, 2023
Running for Sustainability: $15 (no shirt), closes July 11th, 2023
Race Day Registration: $30 (T-shirt not guaranteed), open from 7:15 – 7:45 a.m. on the Pedestrian Bridge near the start line
Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in the following categories for the 5K Run/Walk:
- Overall
- Under 18
- Ages 19-64
- Over 65
The 5K route begins on the pedestrian bridge and follows the east bank of the Wabash River, heading north along the beautiful Wabash River Heritage Trail. This out-and-back course finishes on the pedestrian bridge and features paved surfaces along the riverbanks.
Water Droplet Kids Run
Bring the little ones to the 9th annual Water Droplet Kids Run, part of the Wabash Riverfest celebrations. The race takes place on Myer’s Pedestrian Bridge, creating a fun and safe environment for kids to participate in.

For the Kids Run, check-in will be on the pedestrian bridge, and the participants will walk together to the starting line.
FREE for children 12 and under (T-shirt not guaranteed after July 3, 2024)
